Tourism in Normandy

The landscapes of Cotentin, one most of the beautiful regions of France

Discover the landscapes of the Cotentin, relax, have fun… Hypocamp campsite will be an ideal starting point to discover this region. Less than an hour from Cherbourg, from the Caps road, from the Nez de Jobourg to the Val de Saire.

A region little known by tourists but worth a visit

The landscapes of North Cotentin, from Val de Saire to La Hague are absolutely magnificent and varied.

East side of Utah Beach in Fermanville

You will discover the very large beach of Utah Beach until Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, the very pretty island of Tatihou and its Vauban tower, the oyster parks of Saint-Vaast, Barfleur, the lighthouse of Gatteville (75m high, breathtaking view of the whole Val de Saire, the coasts of Calvados)…

West side from Cherbourg to Portbail

The cliffs of Landemer, Port Racine (certainly the smallest port in France), the Cap de La Hague to the lighthouse of Goury in the open sea, the Nez de Jobourg, the fabulous Baie d’Ecalgrain with its beach embedded in the cliffs. We continue our route to the Anse de Vauville and the Mare de Vauville nature reserve, the Dunes de Biville (nature reserve), the Anse de Sciotot, the Cap du Rozel… Plan a very good day by car to see all these sites!
